We were completely reliant on Checkatrade to discover us a competent contractor for our repair job. We signed up and advertised our needs, but unfortunately, we were left abandoned at sea.

We are very disappointed with Checkatrade and would strongly advise using their services. There are much better alternatives out there. We are saddened by having wasted our money on this disappointing service.

After/Upon/Following hiring a plumber/electrician/carpenter from their platform, we ended up with a shoddy/subpar/messy job that cost us a fortune/ dearly/ an arm and a leg. Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade prioritizes their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

Think twice before you trust Checkatrade. Their whole scheme is designed to rip you off. They promise the world but they barely anything. You'll be left high and dry and nobody at Checkatrade will give a damn.

It all starts with their sneaky charges, which they hide in the small stuff. Then, there's the terrible support that's about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to raise an issue, but it's like pulling teeth.

So, avoid them like the plague of Checkatrade if you value your money.

Using MyBuilder can turn into a total nightmare. You might end up with a dodgy tradesperson who {takes your money anddoes a shoddy job. It's as bad as a messed up project.

Was Checkatrade a Total Fraud?

We thought we were doing the right choice by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so trustworthy with their approved traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Then, the communication from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and provided a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to discuss the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up having to hire someone else more info by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's helpline was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling disappointed and warn everyone against using them for your tradesman needs.

My rundown with Checkatrade turned into a nightmare. I hired a trader through their platform to carry out some vital home repairs. They seemed legitimate at first, but it turned out a horrendous ordeal.
